Setting the stage . . .

Busting through into life and ‘the light’ can be challenging on almost everybody. Some are born loving the entry into a physical reality, while others are born reluctantly. Some are born with significant challenges, and others are not born at all.

Regardless of the entry, becoming resilient to the five sensory experiences of life impacts everyone differently. It is the opportunity to thrive for some; for others, it is a survive-or-dive scenario, but getting on with learning the boundaries, navigational highways and environments, is up to each individual.

The Soul carries the mapping of the life you will live, and each individual has an internal map to help the subconscious and unconscious aspects of the journey ahead. No one comes into life without a blueprint – the only difference is that most do not know that they have one or where to find it. Perhaps if more people were to discover that the maps existed, we would perpetuate a future generation in which life not only had a purpose but also contained a consistent amount of joy for everyone, too!

The most challenging issue we face in teaching and bringing knowledge to light comes in a four-fold manner:

– Each individual has already built a fortress around themselves as a survival mechanism, so new knowledge can readily be filed away as nonsense, for it does not align with the survival mechanism. (Life has conditioned individuals to be cynical, skeptical and untrusting.)

– Even if we succeed in imparting knowledge to the individual, there is a need for a certain degree of release or willingness to let go, for it to become a new way of life.

– Individuals need convincing. They want you to walk on water before they open the door to the extraordinary landscapes of the Self. They do not realize that each spiritual teacher is fundamentally bound to the vibration that they inhabit. What do I mean by that? Let us try to look at the basic musical scale that starts from the lowest ‘A’ to the highest ‘G’ – (A, B, C, D, E, F and G). Every teacher inhabits one of these notes on this scale, and the higher they are, the more impactful and knowledgeable they are. Imagine that a teacher on the first note A is teaching those who are only just beginning to question and seek something more than their everyday fulfillment. Teacher A may teach them about all things within that particular note or vibration, which is at the very beginning of this scale but may not access any of the knowledge further up the scale. The seeker may think that they are only an ‘A’ level teacher, but they fail to understand that the teacher is exactly where they are learning to be – there are no mistakes under the sun. If a teacher from the ‘F’ note vibration were to teach the new seeker, they would only be able to impart knowledge that will assist them in reaching ‘A’ and no higher. Therefore, no ‘G’ level teacher will ever walk on water for a new seeker or any student in lower notes of this scale. It is a fundamental rule that cannot be broken and would result in the higher note or vibrational teacher losing their status. All levels of knowledge come at great personal cost, and no wise teacher will put that at risk for a curious seeker or new student. 

– There is a great deal of free and readily accessed information in a bookstore, but those seeking their inner connection need proper guidance. There is only one path that delivers, and it is not discovered through intellectual information alone. ‘Becoming’ is the more critical and next higher version of themselves. Why is a teacher necessary? True, some seek to self-propel, but each ascendency to the next vibration requires that the individual leave something behind. The means to reaching that higher vibration requires guidance and coaching from a teacher who already embodies it, lives it, breathes it, andis it. Consider the following: if you have lived underground all your life – how can you intimately learn what the earth looks like? If you have lived on earth all your life – how can you thoroughly learn what the heavens look like? If you have lived in the clouds all your life – how can you profoundly learn what the Universe looks like? You learn from a traveller who has not only been there but can help you to reach it. They will not do itfor you – they cannot – but they can show you the way. They are the map-makers.
